• Is hair & make-up included?

 

Yes, professional hair & makeup is available on site for your convenience to give you that glamorous and polished look for your photo shoot.

 

• Is this private?

 

Absolutely! We respect everyone’s right to privacy and we will uphold that before, during and after your session. We know the nature of boudoir is very intimate and we will make every effort to ensure that you feel comfortable in every aspect of your experience. Nobody besides the photographer, female assistant and yourself will be present during your photo shoot. All images will not be shared without your explicit permission.

 

• Are my images going to be made public on your website?

 

As we mentioned before, your privacy is the most important thing to us. Some of our clients were gracious enough to allow us to use their images on our website and Facebook, but without your permission, your images will never be used for promotional purposes.

 

• Where does the session take place?

 

Our sessions are photographed on location, meaning that we go where you are. We can do the photo shoot in the comfort of your own home, in a friend’s home, in a tastefully decorated hotel or anywhere else where privacy is available. It is important we know the location ahead of time as we will need to ensure we have the best possible lighting.

 

*If you prefer having your photo shoot done in a hotel, please know that it will be an additional cost at your own expense.

 

• How long is the session?

 

Sessions usually last 3 hours (not including hair and makeup, add 1-2 hours more).

 

• What do I need to do to prepare? Any tips?

 

We will provide you with a list of do’s and dont’s via email prior to your boudoir session. There are many important tips in this document so please make sure to read it thoroughly and if you have any questions please ask me.

 

• What should I bring?

 

Everyone has their own idea of what is beautiful and sexy, so bring whatever it is that makes you feel amazing! Some ideas are: your favorite dress, lingerie, night gown, husband’s work shirt and tie, sports jersey, anything in his favorite color…accessories like your favorite necklace, earrings, bracelet, stockings, and of course no boudoir session is complete without a fabulous pair of high heels!

 

We offer a limited amount of accessories for clients to use. Ask us for more details.

 

• Do I need to look like a model?

 

A lot of times, I am asked who makes the perfect client for a boudoir session and I have to say that there isn’t one. Any woman, regardless of age, size, color, or status, is going to look and feel amazing in a photo shoot of their own. You can be a 20 something college student, a 30 something mother of two, or a 50 something business executive, it doesn’t matter! I enjoy making everyone look fabulous! It is my job to help you feel comfortable, relaxed and bring out your unique femininity.

 

• Do I have to know how to pose?

 

Absolutely not. Just be yourself. It’s ok to feel a little shy or nervous. We are the professionals, and we have extensive experience working with real people. 90% of our clients are your day to day housewives or professional business women, so I know how to make you feel at ease and direct you through the entire photo shoot. It is my job to pose you in a way that brings out your best features and to photograph you in the best lighting.

 

• Can I have some input in my session?

 

This is YOUR session. Feel free to voice any opinion, idea or concern you may have.

 

• Can a friend come along?

 

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring a friend. Also, unless you are doing a couple’s boudoir session we do not allow boyfriends or husbands to be present the day of your session.

 

• When can I see the final images?

 

Processing your images and retouching them is a very important part of the creative process. This is where your images will be turned into something more than just a picture, and the final result will be well worth the wait! Retouching is included in your session and is basically smoothing of the skin where needed, and removing any scars, blemishes or unwanted tattoos. The wait time is approximately two weeks from the day of your photo shoot until you are able to view your final images during our private portrait screening session.

 

• Where do my images end up?

 

After the in-person, private portrait screening session, all final, edited images will be available for viewing on our website under the Clients tab for 30 days only. Your boudoir session will be in a secure, password protected gallery for your privacy (the password will be sent to you via email). Most of our clients purchase packages that include custom albums, but additional items can be purchased from our à la carte menu. We offer incredible wall portraits, canvas wraps, unique one of a kind designer coffee table books, custom albums and more!

 

• Do you do Bridal boudoir?

 

Yes, we do! Why not take a break from all the wedding planning and pamper yourself with your own Bridal Boudoir session! It makes the perfect gift to give your husband to be on your wedding day! Give him the surprise that he will always remember and cherish! Custom, leather bound albums enclosed in a nice satin pouch are available. Check out our sample album under the Investment tab.

 

• Can I have a boudoir party for my bridesmaids?

 

Yes. One of the newest trends in Bachelorette parties is to have a boudoir party for the bride and her bridesmaids.

 

• Do you offer couple’s boudoir sessions?

 

Definitely! What better way to show the love you both have for one another than by doing a session together! Bond in a way you never imagined. It will be an experience to remember!
